How it all started
After a decade of developing it as a part-time venture, we became full-time, professional dog trainers/ educators in 2001 when we established DarnFar Ranch, LLC a full service, dog training facility located in Brownstown, IL.
Our story
When a local woman called us for help in 2003, we trained and and placed our first Service Dog. As we watched her gain am amazing level of independence after partnering with her dog, we launched an owner-trained program as an additional service of DarnFar Ranch. In February, 2011, spring boarding off our combined near 40 years of dog training experience, we formed Committed Canine as a unique company. We continue to offer the train- your-own dog course called T.E.A.C.H. as well as our highly successful custom training program.

Robert D. Rogers

- 1982-1998: Sales, Certified mechanic, Owner/Operator electronic Repair Business
- 1999-2001: Apprenticed under Tammie Rogers/ DarnFar Ranch as dog trainer
- 2002 – present: DarnFar Ranch, LLC Brownstown, IL – Full-time, professional dog trainer & instructor
- 2003-2004: Co-trained, then placed first Service Dog into service with disabled individual
- 2011: Co-founded Committed Canine
Since early 2002, Robert has trained hundreds of dogs and provided instruction to their owners. He specializes in rehabilitation of anti-social / aggressive dogs. Robert is a Therapy Dog handler.
